The Up Side of Winter

I'm afraid I've been loosing my joy in the winter season lately. We've all had some pretty miserable colds (me w/out any medicine! -anguished frown) , and the snow makes it hard to impossible to go for walks, IF the temperature happens to be anywhere above 20 degrees.
BUT, there is sledding! And now that Ali is feeling better we've hit the slopes again. This time it was fun to see just how much she appreciated exploring the snow, as well as whizzing down it at break-neck speed. Did I say that? Okay, hopefully not break-neck speed, but enough to induce some pretty excited giggles from Ali.
