Here are some of Aliyah's favorite things to do at play this winter.

Cooking in the kitchen is often an interesting affair. The best part is when I give her a new kitchen gadget to test out for a while. This beater was quite a hit.

Grandma got us this fun tent at Christmas & we're currently enjoying it as a fabulous reading & snuggling nook for Ali--that is, when she's not going in & out, in & out.

She loves playing with her cards in endless creative games. All kinds of sorting, stacking, and of course naming. She knows probably 3 dozen words now & loves to use them.

Oh the joy of finding treasures to collect & push around the house in her wagon. The only way she likes better to play with the wagon is to get a ride inside while dad spins her around the house.

This is Ali's "__ Mobile" We used to call it the Pickle Mobile, because she loved to put her play pickle in there & vroom vroom it all around the house. I think there's bananas in there for this pic. She's always very intentional about loading up the car before going for a ride. Lately it's been a crowded trunk of classic Little People, the more the better.
