Nature Walk 2

Though on bad days I may grumble about missing our own yard, we certainly have MANY great parks close by. This one has a good sized pond, great playground, and a "nature trail" I just discovered last week.
Ali spent most of her scientific energies observing & working with rocks on this expotition, but in this picture she's showing you her "spider stick." Love it. Do you remember how she pointed out, "It has a little eye on it," regarding a tiny knot on a good sized stick from our last nature walk. Observant & imaginative she is.
Theo continues to be a good sport on these walks. He's oh so sweetly cuddled up here in our stroller, but he also now fits in my Ergo belly to belly. Yea! I can think of few more precious things than walking down a trail with my baby boy gazing up at me and the trees soaking it all in with joy. I just couldn't quite capture it in the photos.
Of course.
More pics here.
P.S. You can see that Ali is getting less enthusiastic about looking in the camera & smiling. However, she is eagerly working on showing you how many fingers two is, as seen in the collage below.
