On Walden Pond

The lake is only about 15 minutes from our home. See more pictures here. Walden's Pond is a perfect spot for a quick picnic dinner. Although I suspect our visits may have to be longer in the future. Ali discovered the joy of splashing through the water and squishing the muddy sand through her toes. Theo's toes will know this joy someday, but right now they're clean & cute.
By the way, did you know he's already 8 weeks old? Time flies when you're completing & defending dissertations, moving across the eastern half of the United States, selling & buying a home, and moving in to a new space with a few too many boxes, and starting a new (low-pressure! hmmn...) job.
So, as you can see it's good for us to take an evening to allow toddler toes to splash in a lake and admire the tiny toes of our growing newborn.
